Our competitiveness depends on innovation. Patents are fundamental in providing legal protection for innovations. We want to carry on being a “Europe of Innovation”.
How can we make the European patent system capable of meeting the requirements of the future? How can the legal framework be improved in order to strengthen the incentives for innovation? And how can we better promote the commercial realisation of new ideas in Europe?
Within the framework of the German EU Presidency, decision-makers from the spheres of government, industry and science will discuss these and other questions in a variety of panels.
A personal invitation is required for participation.
