This conference dealt with the topics of “A Common Frame of Reference for European Contract Law” and “Review of the Consumer Acquis.”
Two parallel panel sessions for the expert discussions took place on 2 March. One of these panels focused specifically on the expectations of the European legislators with respect to a Common Frame of Reference. The other panel addressed the question of what practitioners expect from the revision of the Consumer Acquis. By way of example, the focus here was on examining current reflections on the right of withdrawal.
